  On the way back from the grocery store....afternoon chuckle!!

  we went shopping this afternoon, my two little girls and i, on the way home, they were both excitedly talking about halloween.

  my youngest, who is seven, lets out this comment that nearly had me veering off the road with laughter.

  she said, "i know what i want to be for halloween already, a jehovah's witness" well, i started to laugh right away, my eldest girl asked her why, she says, "they knock on people's door all the time and they are really scary".

  Preemployment Drug Screenings

  i have not been associated with the jws for many, many years.

  today i had someone ask me why jws don't submit to preemployment or employment drug screening.

  i had never heard this one and suspect it's some random person out there just trying to get out of taking a drug test.

  I have NO idea what you're talking about........whoops, whoa....I just dropped my bong ....crap. There is NO official policy about drug testing.....unless of course you would fail said drug test....(cough, ....)

  Wow.That's really friggin hilarious!While you're at it.Why not suggest she do Halloween as a Jew? Or Better yet....dress her up with a fake bomb, and have her go as a Islamic Jihhadist!...No....wait a minute....take a white sheet, and have her cut two holes in it, and call herself a junior member of the KKK! Yeah! All fun, and games.....I am an ex-JW with no intention of EVER going back....BUT.my wife, and young child are still active. I KNOW my Daughter would be crushed by such an ignorant portrayal of her heartfelt (albeit wrong) Beliefs. Why not take the opportunity to teach your young one about religous tolerance...and acceptance? Christ!......right when you think things might be getting better.....

  here's a thought guys......prove that jesus existed at all..using anything besides the bible....or the writings of josephus (which have been proven tampered with by the early christian church).

  Little Toe.......Do you have a Library Card, Drivers license, Birth Certificate, Tax Record, Doctors record, School Record?.............anything that proves you were here?..........all I'm asking for is some proof outside of a record that would have an alterior motive to prove Jesus' existence. Seeing as how He caused such a huge stink.I don't think that's asking too much, nor do I believe that it is ludicrous. In Fact I feel it is ludicrous to believe only ONE source on a matter that has a HUGE impact not only on myself....but all of mankind. I make no judgement either way as to weather an individual believes Jesus existed, or not. but I feel it merits serious discussion. I don't debate the fact Pilate, or Caiaphas existed.that record is made known by NEUTRAL sources. I DO however debate the interactions which supposedly took place with the so far unconvincing figure of Jesus. This topic was not brought up to be nit-picky....I don't have the time for it (nor the patience).

  So....'The-Borg' ........You mention Pilate, and Caiaphas.....but both of those examples are only quoted in the bible as far as I know. If I'm missing something please give me a reference. If they are only in the bible, would you consider the possibility that "Jesus" was placed there as a way to further influence the masses....put there at absolutely no risk whatsoever by the powers that be at the time? in an effort to bring together those of differing religions under one huge roof?
